The Games Forum
This forum is for... you guessed it... video game discussion.
We've done away with the sub-boards for each game series; Instead, here, create a thread for each series. If that gets popular, each game can get its own thread. If those continue to be popular, or more popular than before, than MAYBE it can get a sub-board here. The reason for this is, that before today, there were sub-boards for each game series, and one of them had a total of 6 posts only, and the other two had no posts. I don't think we want unneeded sub-boards
Please remember that this board is for games that are not Pokemon. The appropriate forum for Pokemon Games is in the Main Pokémon Boards.
Making a Thread
When making a thread for your series, you should follow a format of something like "Series Name Discussion Thread" or something like that You might also want to have some info about your series, such as a list of games in the series, what the series is about, etc. For examples, look at some of the existing threads or the example at the bottom of this post. Be sure to double check if that game has a thread or not already. If you make a game thread that already has a discussion, it may be considered spam. Very low possibility.
If you wish to make a thread for a game T+, you must get a mod's permission first. If you make a T+ game discussion thread without a mod's permission, it will be deleted immediately and you could get a warning. Also, make sure that if you make a T+ game thread that it follows the rules. If not, you must keep those parts out. No exceptions. There can be a little kid looking at the forums, so we want to make sure it is safe for everybody.
That's about it - not much needed.
Here's an example of a good first post to a thread:
Hi, anyone else play Mario games? I find them very fun.
That would include all of the Mario Kart games, Mario Baseball, etc. My favorite is the main series though.
Here are a few of the titles that Nintendo has released -
Super Mario Bros. - NES - 1983
Super Mario 64 - Nintendo 64 - 1996
Super Mario Galaxy - Wii - 2007
Mario Kart Wii:
Anyone want to play on Wi-Fi? If so, here is my code:
[insert code here]
New Super Mario Bros Wii:
One of my favorite games in the series. The difficulty is wonderfully hard!

Rules
In addition to the normal Site Rules, you also have to follow these. (Recap over the previous parts of this thread...)
No discussing 'suggestive scenes' in games. - I trust you all to understand the 'suggestive scenes' meaning. These are very inappropriate and would result in suspension/ban. Remember, there are kids here!
No T+ discussions. - If you wish to make a thread for a game T+, you must get a mod's permission first. If you make a T+ game discussion thread without a mod's permission, it will be deleted immediately and you could get a warning. Also, make sure that if you make a T+ game thread that it follows the rules. If not, you must keep those parts out. No exceptions. Don't post something completely different from what everybody is talking about. - Posting something completely unrelated to the topic, or if a new thread, will be considered spam and be deleted/moved and might get you a warning.
